Art educator
With long-standing experience bridging creative vision and practical execution, Aleksandra brings insight, leadership, and inspiration to every project and learning environment she engages with.
I work as a curator and educator, developing exhibitions and pedagogical formats that emphasize dialogue, situated knowledge, and collaborative processes. These roles inform my understanding of art as infrastructure — a space where counter-publics can emerge and where inherited hierarchies of visibility may be questioned.
Aleksandra is a visiting teacher at the Anglo-American University summer school in Prague, where she is developing an experimental art course inspired by Czech art history and the city’s remarkable architecture. The course invites students to explore Prague’s rich cultural life, combining historic museums, churches, palaces, and public spaces with a vibrant contemporary art scene of galleries and museums.
She has lectured in the Art Education for Teachers program at Dalarna University, sharing her expertise with the next generation of educators.
She has also worked as an art educator at Liljevalchs konsthallen, Stockholm’s most beautiful art gallery, which belongs to the City of Stockholm, inaugurated in 1916, as the first independent and public art gallery for contemporary art in Sweden.
